I’ve googled the issue and it seems to be a big problem. The scanner does not scale the data correctly on other resolutions.
This scanner is apparently a LMx derivative. To downgrade, first you need to download the deb file, in this case from: Could not find ‘drkonqi’ executable. Changed in linux Ubuntu: I tried to correct everything: It also seems that somebody knows how to compile this in Linux, but I am too new to try this. I’ll post again if I get anywhere.

As I 63300c before, my next step would be to install 56 K modem for fax. Information and links in this thread may no longer be available or relevant. In your case, the screenshot only showed the end of the messages. The scanimage -L command works as root but not as normal user. You might want to try it out even though I know there aren’t any special changes for the avision backend.
